I suppose you could say, as with all of us, that it started with her mother. At a very early age Jaime was taught to sew and worked on projects such as Halloween costumes and outfits for school plays or recitals. The spark being made so young, age 8 found Jaime dressing up in her older sisters clothes to fit her fascination with glam rock videos. Many a girl was dazzled by the presence Tawny Kitaen held in a Whitesnake video or the exotic appearance of the 80's rock stars. Remember she was young. After this she spent her Jr. High and High School years buying mens clothing and modifying them to her own personal liking, ripping holes in them, adding safety pins and studs while rocking a black leather jacket to suit her punk rock ideals.
Upon graduating in 1996, Jaime started her cross country hitchhiking experience whereupon she sold jewelry and hand made clothes to support her travels. By 1998 she had begun making renaissance and medieval clothing which she sold on E-Bay. The level of detail required in making these hand stitched outfits, over time, became overwhelming. The outfits were truly a labor of love, but as too many of us knows, love does not pay as well as one would like.
